Hi Rebecca,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question!

To quote Indiana Jones: “Snakes… Why did it have to be Snakes??” I have a friend who absolutely loathes them and she will do absolutely anything to avoid even seeing a picture of one.

That said, I’m happy to say that she was able to avoid seeing these scaly creatures during our last visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and we were even able to participate in The Animation Experience at Conservation Station, hassle free! Based on my experience, you don’t even have to look at any of the exhibits or other animal habitats at Rafiki’s Planet Watch in order to do this experience. You can use a separate entrance to visit it, one that bypasses the animals completely. If you need any assistance, just ask one of the Cast Members who will greet you at the attraction’s entrance – they’ll be happy to help!
