Hi, Mark! Welcome to planDisney.
Visiting Walt Disney World solo can be such a special experience. You get to move at your own pace, chase the thrills that matter most to you, and soak in all the little details that can sometimes get missed in a big group. Whether it’s grabbing a last-minute
dining reservation, hopping in a short
single rider line, or just sitting with a coffee and people-watching on Main Street, there's something really freeing about a solo Disney trip.
Disney resort rooms are generally designed to accommodate multiple Guests, so even the standard rooms will have two beds or a bed and a pull-down, rather than a true "single bed" room. That’s why you’re not seeing any "single" options. If you're only seeing the campground come up, it likely means other resorts are fully booked or blocked out for your dates. Since your dates are close to Thanksgiving, that's a busy time of year.
Still, I’d recommend checking out
Disney’s Pop Century Resort or Disney’s All-Star Resorts. They’re great for solo travelers and budget-friendly. If you’re open to a bit of a splurge,
Disney's Riviera Resort has a Tower Studio room that accommodates two Guests. It's on the smaller side, but very comfortable and luxurious for one person. Keep adjusting your dates, if possible, and see what magically appears.
