We are visiting the AKP Sept 12 - 15 with 2 1/2 yo twins. I've seen many tips on where to go first thing in AM - Kilimanjaro, Conservation Station, Lion King show. We will visit the park for 2 day so have 2 mornings to optimize - what is your suggestion?

Since you are traveling with double the fun of small children, I would use one morning to get a go on Kilimanjaro Safari and then take the Wildlife Express to Rafiki's Planet Watch. Rafiki's usually opens about a half hour after the rest of the park. If you have more time to spare before your train departs, walk the Pangani Exploration Trail.

The next morning, I would see the first show of the Festival of the Lion King. You will have about an hour from regular park opening until show time. I would journey to DinoLand and let the twins ride TriceraTops spin and perhaps run around in the Boneyard before getting in line for the show. After following your little ones around in the Boneyard, you'll also welcome the sit-down respite at the show!
