Visiting AK on Wednesday Sept. 12th and can't decide between Tusker House or Rainforest Cafe! Have a 3 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son. What would you suggest? Going to be doing other character dining as well throughout the week.

    Hi Megan!

September is a FANTASTIC time to visit Walt Disney World!  You can often find great deals and the crowds are typically super low.  I sure do miss those times when I didn't have to worry about my boys missing school and we could take advantage of those cooler September days!

Having dined at both Tusker House and the Rainforest Cafe many times, I have to tell you that I am torn!  Tusker House offers delicious food in a completely unique setting.  However, it isn't particularly entertaining for toddlers.  Of course, they will have plenty of fun at all of the other character meals that you have booked for them.  On the other hand, the Rainforest Cafe is a loud, fun, visually stimulating restaurant that is sure to keep your little ones entertained while waiting for their food.  I have no doubt that they will LOVE it!  Although, some of the animatronic animals are particularly life like, so you may not want to be seated next to a giant gorilla or other intimidating jungle creature!!!

Both choices are fantastic and I know that you will enjoy either one!

    Much pixie dust,
