Hello Emma and welcome to planDisney!
As the current UK Panelist here at planDisney, it brings me great joy to be able to offer some assistance towards your dear family's
jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
Isn't the
Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card (DAS) such a fantastic
Disability Service for Guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort?! One of my daughters suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) and we found the Disability Access Service to be incredibly helpful to her full enjoyment of the Disney Theme Parks. Therefore, I'm really so very happy to hEAR your family has also enjoyed previous good experiences of using the Disability Access Service Card too.
Although I haven't personally used the hugely convenient
Rider Switch Service for some yEARS now, I do recall it being an absolute gem for my family when all my 4 Mouseketeers were much younger. And I guess that now I'm a grandma, I'll be using the Rider Switch Service once again when we visit
Walt Disney World Resort with our grandbabies!
The Disability Access Service and Rider Switch Service can indeed be combined for use on Attractions that offer the Rider Switch Service; simply speak to the Cast Member at the entrance to the Attraction you wish to enjoy to gain return times. Although, please do bear in mind that when using Rider Switch Service that your whole family group must be all together as you enter the Attraction, and when using the Disability Access Service that the DAS Cardholder must board the Attraction.
Emma, I hope I've been able to offer you a little insight into using both of these great services for Guests at
Walt Disney World Resort. If you should have any further questions about your plans to visit the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back
to planDisney ask me another question. I'm always more than happy to help!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
