Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashley!
I had the opportunity to use
Disney’s Rider Switch service for the first time last year and it was great!
I don’t see this as an issue! You’ll want to approach the greeting Cast Member with your entire party. Using your example, the two adult members of your party and the Guests who are not riding will be issued a Ride Switch entitlement by the Cast Member and asked to wait in a designated area. Keep in mind that only 3 Guests are allowed per Rider Switch Pass.
Then, once the members from your party finish the ride, the two waiting adults should be able to take those same kids on the ride without having to wait in the regular queue. You’ll want to clarify this with the greeting Cast Member to make sure everything is properly linked, but Walt Disney World understands that parents want to experience the rides with their family members.
Please note that not every attraction offers the Rider Switch program, so
you’ll want to check out this helpful list to help plan your vacation.
If you have any other questions, please let us know. Have a magical day!
