We visited WDW in Nov of 2011 and it was perfect. However, this time we can't get there until the end of June of 2013. What will the crowds and heat be like? As for the crowds will it be double of what November is like? I can base it on that.

    Hi Antonia,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I have traveled to Walt Disney World in both June and November.  While it will be more crowded and warmer in June rather than in November, I think you will find that June is still a nice time to travel.  It will be more crowded typically at the end of June as opposed to November since schools are generally out at the end of June.  I wouldn't say that it will be twice as crowded in June as in November - just more crowded.  June will not be as crowded as peak times of year such as Spring Break and Winter Holidays.  Since you have already been to Walt Disney World, you already have an idea of the theme parks and how to navigate them, so moving to a somewhat more crowded time of year now should be easier for you, rather than visiting during a more crowded time of year for your first visit.  When I am looking for Walt Disney World theme park crowd predictions, I like to visit the unofficial website touringplans.com.  For a low fee, you can see their predictions for crowd levels in the Walt Disney World theme parks for up to a year out.

While it will be quite warm in Orlando in June, it is not as hot as it is in July or August.  In June, you can expect high temperatures around 91 degrees Fahrenheit.  While this is quite warm, we just throw a couple more bottles of water in our backpack and be sure to take frequent breaks in air conditioning when we visit in June.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Antonia.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to come back and ask if you have any further questions.  We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel love helping you to plan magical vacations!
