Hey Bridget!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for your questions.
I have been to Walt Disney World in December several times and I have to say I think it's the most magical time of year to visit.
There is no doubt the crowds will be ramping up during your stay. However, there are a couple of ways to beat the crowds. The first is the arrive at the parks early and stay late. By being one of the first Guests to enter the park or leave at night you will be able to ride many of the headliner attractions with very low wait times. The next way to beat the crowds is to take advantage of
Disney's FastPass+ service. By pre-selecting your
FastPass+ attractions you will not be stuck in long queue lines for your favorite rides.
The weather at Walt Disney World in December is perfect for us Northerns. The daily average high temperature is 73
°. While the nighttime average low temperature is 52
°. I typically wear jeans or shorts and a t-shirt during the day and bring a sweatshirt in my backpack for the evening.
When it comes to holiday decorations there is nothing like it. The parks and resort are all decorated so beautifully. I suggest taking some time to tour a few of the resorts such at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney's Beach Club Resort.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions about how to make the most of your Disney holiday please
come back and see me.
Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
