We visited 9/08 and now have an unexpected trip in August. We hit all the parks, Check Mickey and Tusker House, a lot of basic first time things. What are some lesser known but exciting things for two boys, 6 & 4? Any off the beaten path suggestions

Hi, Gwynn!    I'll take an unexpected trip to WDW anytime!    There are so many fun things to experience across Disney property, here are some ideas . . .

-Catch and Release fishing at Port Orleans Riverside
-Characters in Flight helium balloon ride in Downtown Disney - takes you 400 feet into the air!
-Chip and Dale Sing-along at Fort Wilderness
-Pirate League in Magic Kingdom - become an honorary Pirate!
-Miniature Golf at either Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland
-Rent a surrey bike on the Boardwalk
-Rent a boat and explore Bay Lake

For more information on any of these activities, check out www.disneyworld.com.   If you need more ideas, let me know what resort you are staying at and I can let you know of more places not to miss.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
