Hello Kathleen, and welcome to planDisney!
Anytime is a great time to visit Walt Disney World! My wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary on the 21st of September, and yes, the Earth, Wind, & Fire song September was specifically written for us! Oh, maybe not, but we like to think so! So, we usually spend a late September weekend at Walt Disney World to celebrate, and we love that time of year for low crowds, nice weather, and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind playing our song!
Your October choice would allow you to watch your grandchildren dress up to trick or treat again with their good friends Mickey and Minnie if you chose to add on
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party which usually runs from mid-August through Halloween night. That time frame might be a great one for you just for nostalgia's sake to remember when they were little and to be able to see the magic through their eyes now! If October was your choice, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for information on when the Halloween Party dates for the coming year will be announced.
If you are more of a Christmas holiday fan, November might get you some early holiday cheer. By the second week of November, the parks and the resorts are magically transformed into that amazing wonderland that only Disney can do! We love to resort hop during the holidays to see how each lobby transforms, and it really does get us into the holiday spirit! We even have our family picture hanging on the wall of our living room that is taken in front of the Christmas tree in the lobby of the majestic Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort! We also make sure we spend the holidays with Mickey and his friends when we visit
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Nobody throws a holiday party like Mickey and Minnie!
Kathleen, it really comes down to your choice of holidays! Is it a hauntingly good month of October? Or is it a naughty or nice November? Either way, enjoy a Mickey Bar or two and have a magical time!
