Hi: I visited some many times WDW but I never went to the Mickeys Very Merry Christimas Party, exists any difference from this event to the regular parade at the regular park hours? What is the special thing that this event have? Is really good?

    Hi Yamirette!

The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is really that good! If you're looking for an event to really bring out the Christmas spirit in you, this is the one!

The main event is the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which starts near Frontierland, thru Main Street, and finishes at the Town Square. Disney sets the perfect mood beforehand playing Christmas music down Main Street and releasing "snow" from the top of the buildings. The parade itself was about 40 minutes give or take, and features every Disney character you can think of, many of which dressed in special Christmas costumes. It finishes with Mickey and Minnie on a float with none other than Santa Claus wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. By far the best parade at any of the parks in my opinion!

Around Magic Kingdom, there are also other things happening at selected times, such as Belle's Enchanted Christmas, where she shares a Christmas story, a Tomorrowland Christmas Show, and Character Dance Parties in some areas.

Around the park are also places that offer free cookies and warm hot cocoa. Disney does a terrific job making the entire park feel like Christmas personified. It's an experience I would encourage everyone to try at least once if they can.

Best wishes to all your Disney planning!
