We just visited all the parks in 3/12. Now will be visiting for a conference for our daughter next week. DD will be busy with conference but is there enough to do cheap or free activities outside the parks to keep my 10yo son and very active 3 yr old busy?

    Absolutely Toyce!

Take your boys to Downtown Disney where there is no admission fee.  Perhaps they would enjoy the Lego or World of Disney stores.  You could easily spend a day in this part of Walt Disney World.  There are plenty of great places to dine at Downtown Disney too.  Let us know if you need recommendations.

Another fabulous way to spend time outside the parks is to explore Disney's resorts.  Again, there is no admission charge involved.  Take your boys to check out Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  There are free tours of the resort and I bet they'd love to watch Fire Rock Geyser erupt out by Silver Creek Springs pool.  You could also rent bicycles at Teton Boat and Bike rental for very little money.  Then pedal your way over to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.  There you'll find all kinds of wildlife to visit.  You could even go fishing, if you like.  If there are two adults in your party, you can rent water mice (personal motorized boats) back at Disney's Wilderness Lodge after you return your bikes.  What an exciting way to explore Walt Disney World!

Miniature golf is another inexpensive way to spend time at Walt Disney World.  You can choose from the Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Courses at Walt Disney World.  Of course, spending an afternoon at the pool is great fun for children too.

Let us know if you need additional suggestions for inexpensive ways to spend time at Walt Disney World.  My friends and I here at the Moms Panel have plenty of fun ideas.

Best wishes for a magical trip next week!
