Hi, Anita! Welcome to planDisney!
Hooray for another trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so glad you're planning to turn your summer adventure into a holiday extravaganza. There truly is nothing quite like a Disney Christmas!
Anita, there are a couple of things we need to check out before you can use your tickets. First, it sounds like you and your husband already have a
My Disney Experience account of your own since you're saying you have the app on your device. That's a great start! As long as your account (or accounts, if you both have one) is connected to your daughter's account via the
Family & Friends list, you should be able to access tickets that your daughter has assigned to you. If you sign in to your My Disney Experience account and go to the "My Plans" page, you can scroll about halfway down the page and click on the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab to see any active tickets you have associated with your account.
That brings us to my one concern, Anita. While you should be able to access your active tickets, I'm worried that the two
unused days on your tickets from this summer may have expired. For a 4-Day ticket,
you generally need to use all four days within a seven-day period, after which the tickets expire. If you're not seeing your tickets in your account, that may be the reason. It's possible that your daughter changed the dates before they expired, so you may still be in luck! I'd
give Guest Relations a call at the number listed for "Existing Tickets" to ask a Cast Member if your tickets are still valid, and what your options may be.
Fingers crossed that you and your husband are able to ring in the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort, Anita! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question, and please come see us again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
