    Hi we should have visited Disney World last September and it was obviously cancelled. We are looking to book again for next year and was wondering if there is a re-opening date for Port Orleans Riverside. Also if the dining plans are do to re-commence.

    You’ve got fabulous tastes, Maria. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside is one of my personal favorites among all the hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection. Don’t you just adore the grounds there? Everything is so beautiful and really contributes to a downhome feel.
     
    I wish I could give you a reopening date, Maria, but we just don’t know yet when this resort might begin welcoming Guests back. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort features rooms at a similar price point, and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge boasts a theme that has some similarities to what you’ll experience at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside. Both of those resorts are open and available for booking. You can always check this page to learn more about which resorts are open and which ones will be reopening soon.

    There is no word yet on when the Disney Dining Plan will become available again. You are not alone in wondering about that; it’s very popular with so many Disney enthusiasts. Keep a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates or announcements about that!
