Have visited Disney b4 in the winter and am now vising OCT19-26. Have read that this is a busy time but received a brochure in the mail stating this was a low crowded time and got 40% off moderate resort....Port ORL Riv. will i be disappointed going in Oct

Hi Tammy.   That week in October I agree should have relatively smaller crowds.    As for your resort, I have stayed at Port Orleans before and its one of my favorite moderate-level resorts.   I am sure you won't be disappointed in that choice.

I live in Florida and the only slight concern may be the weather.    You are visiting at that time of year when you on the border of the warm, wet weather common between July - September and the dryer, cooler temperatures found starting in November.    However, I have found that as you approach the end of October, the weather definitely starts to improve.    So, compared to certain other time you can visit to find smaller crowds and great deals, the week you chose I believe is a good one.    Enjoy your vacation!
