Welcome Home, Gayle!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am thrilled to answer your excellent question.
I regret to inform you that the “Walk Around the World” program ended in the year 2000. This program, which ran during
The Disney Decade, offered Guests the opportunity to purchase a personalized hexagonal-shaped brick paver to be placed at one of 5 locations outside of
Magic Kingdom Park, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
As of November 2017, there are no plans to begin selling personalized bricks or "pavers" again. I encourage you to
subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog in order to stay “up-to-date” on the latest Disney Parks news, updates and happenings.
There are other great ways of commemorating your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I personally love commemorating my visits with
silhouette portraits (available at Disney Springs, all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, and many Disney Resort hotels), autograph books and personalized Mickey Mouse ear hats.
Gayle, I hope you will visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! If you have any other Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us again. We are all ears!
With a Sprinkling of Pixie Dust,
Priscila
