I visited Disney through september 3rd, we went just a few days before the annual pass became available. I was hoping there is some kind of exception window provided that I can use my previous purchase as credit as it wasn’t possible to buy at the time.

Hi Christina,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for sending us your question about the new Annual Passes. I am so happy to see that you have recently visited Walt Disney World Resort, I bet you made some wonderful memories during your stay!

Guests are able to use the value of existing Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of an Annual Pass, provided there is at least one day left on the Ticket. I am so sorry to see that the timing did not work out for you to take advantage of this perk, however it does mean that when you do purchase your Annual Pass, your year will start with that first visit, instead of back dating to September. That gives you at least another month of Disney Magic! If you would like to speak to a Cast Member regarding your Ticket issue, you could always call and explain your extenuating circumstance.
