    We visited Disney in 1998 and purchased (vintage) mugs. We were told and it was stated in writing that the mugs may be used on returning visits to Disney for as long as we have them. Has that policy been changed. Please check with Disney staff for me.

    Hi Sherry!  You've asked a very interesting question.  While I had heard rumours of a 'lifetime' refillable mug at Walt Disney World, I personally have never seen one.  I just went online and did numerous searches on the topic, and was unable to get any concrete information, so I placed a call to Guest Relations at Walt Disney World.  The Cast Member I spoke with put me on hold to check and then came back and stated that there has never been 'lifetime' refillable mugs.  While I do not know if this information is completely accurate, it is what I was told by Disney so that is what I am passing along to you.  My best advice to you is that if you have the mugs and have some type of written confirmation that they are indeed good for as long as you have them, that you bring that confirmation with you.

    I truly hope if you do have one of these types of mugs, that you have something to back the 'lifetime' claim and that you will be able to use them on your upcoming visit.  The current mugs are valid only for length of stay at Walt Disney World, and new mugs would need to be purchased for subsequent trips.
