Hello, Zhaosheng!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for asking us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. I hope you enjoyed your recent visit and made many magical memories during your time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
Zhaosheng, the theme parks are generally operating with only paperless
theme park tickets at this time. Once they are delivered via email, Disney eTickets are meant to be scanned directly from a mobile device at the theme parks, or Guests have the option of printing them out at home. It’s my understanding that the only way to receive a physical ticket in the mail is if you call to order your tickets over the phone. However, if you already purchased and used a Disney eTicket, receiving a physical ticket for that transaction is no longer an option.
I hate to be the bearer of less-than-magical news if you were hoping to have the ticket to save as a souvenir. I also enjoy hanging on to small keepsakes like paper theme park tickets from past trips to commemorate my magical time at the Disneyland Resort. Other fun and free souvenirs to collect on your next visit to the parks are celebration buttons (you can ask for one at City Hall in
Disneyland Park or the Chamber of Commerce in
Disney California Adventure Park), printed theme park maps (available at the turnstiles of each park), and autographs from your favorite characters (just bring along an autograph book or any easy-to-sign item). One more idea is to visit the
Animation Academy in Disney California Adventure Park to participate in a drawing class. Every 30 minutes, Guests of all skill levels are invited to draw their very own Disney character with step-by-step instructions from a Disney artist. You get to take home your artwork as a one-of-a-kind souvenir!
I hope this helps, Zhaosheng, and that your next visit to the Disneyland Resort isn’t too far away! Please feel free to
stop by again to ask any other questions you may have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
