Hiya Charlotte,
Welcome to planDisney! I must admit until recently, I had never been to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge; I was definitely missing out. I loved the breathtaking lobby, and my little Mouseketeer LOVED the water feature that fed into the pool. It is truly a hidden gem at Walt Disney World Resort.
Now that I think about it, the secret is out, and due to the not-so-hidden status of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, parking is limited to Guests with resort and dining reservations. This means, unfortunately, you would not be able to park at the resort to visit
Territory Lounge. But, no worries, there are still multiple ways you can travel to Disney's Wilderness Lodge that don't require parking your vehicle. You can take a bus from any of the Theme Parks or Disney Springs. You can also end the day at Magic Kingdom by taking the 10-minute water taxi near the park entrance to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Finally, you can take my personal favorite, the
Minnie Van Service. I took the Minnie Van Service to Wilderness Lodge during my last visit, and it was the perfect way to travel. It is the only way to get from one Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel to the other. Also, since my mobile device's navigation service had difficulty directing me there, it was the quickest way to get there.
I hope this was helpful, Charlotte! Enjoy a S'more Old Fashion for me and please come back and see us if you need anything in the future.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
