this is our 1st visit to WDW, we have a 7 year boy and 2 year old girl. we r celebrating their B-day on 4/18 to 4/27. how should we plan our days at the parks? is the dining plan worth it for us?that's almost $1,000 for food for the DPP. stretch our dollar

Birthdays at the Walt DIsney World Resort are what making memories are all about. My family loves to start at the Magic Kingdom. We head over to City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. to get our birthday Celebration Recognition Button as well as a call from Goofy with birthday wishes. When you combine that with the 'It's My Birthday' Mickey Mouse Ears, you will suddenly notice all the cast members and even guests offering birthday wishes. It makes you feel pretty special. While at the Happiest Place on Earth you can all enjoy an adventure on the classic Jungle Cruise as well as a visit with Jack Sparrow and all the swash buckling buccaneers on Pirates of the Caribbean. With all the time you have there will be no problems visiting all the wonderful parks at your leisure. As for the DIsney Dining Plan, while there are mixed emotions, I know that in my family we always partake in the Dining Plan. We have always appreciated the variety of restaurants and just knowing we have it provides me with piece of mind, which I think is great to have on vacation. I know you will all really enjoy yourselves on this vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Ari, California

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
