We want to visit WDW for the 1st time w/ our 8 & 3yr old girls in Oct or Nov. What kind of special programs might be scheduled during these 2 months? I want to make the best decision on the best time to schedule our vacation. Halloween, Xmas décor

    Hi Amy!
Planning your first trip to Walt Disney World is so very exciting...but can be a bit overwhelming too. It is very hard to choose when to come because there is always something special and exciting going on.
If you go in October, the parks are all decked out for Halloween and the Magic Kingdom runs Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on select nights as a separate event. It is very fun!
As you get into November, the parks and resorts transition to incredible holiday splendor. The mood is so festive and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select nights (also a separate event like Halloween).
Even though I LOVE Halloween time AND the party, I prefer November. The weather is a bit more comfortable and there is just something about being in Walt Disney World around the holidays.
I know you may have many more questions pop up as you plan, but I hope this helps a bit as far as choosing a month. Please let me know if I can help in any other way and I wish you a Magical trip this fall!! :)
