I have a visit to WDW planned for late September and I just received new Magicbands and I don't know how to link them to the reservations and tickets I have listed on My Disney Experience. Can someone give me information on how to do that?

    Howdy Dennis!

Welcome to planDisney!  I love my MagicBands!  I know you are looking forward to wearing your new MagicBand on your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a couple of months!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!  Let’s get started!

First, open up your My Disney Experience.  Under the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets area, you will see the option to “Add More Plans.”  When you click on this link, you will see the option to “Link Reservations and Purchases.”  After you open up this link, you will now see the MagicBand option.  Once you have clicked on the MagicBand option, you will need to enter the ID Number listed on the back of your MagicBand.  After you follow these step-by-step directions, you are all set, or as our pal Mickey would say, “Everything Neat and Pretty” and now on with the planning!

You will be using your My Disney Experience on your upcoming trip more than ever!  Currently, to enjoy a quick-service dining experience, you will need to use the Mobile Food Order option on your My Disney Experience.  If you have used this option before then, you know how amazing it is! However, if this will be a first for you, then I recommend familiarizing yourself with this feature before you take off to Neverland!  With Mobile Food Ordering, you will be able to choose your quick-service location, determine the approximate time you will arrive, choose your meal, and pay for it from your smartphone!  Make sure that once you arrive at your quick-service location, click the option to let the restaurant know you have arrived so they can begin making your meal!

Your vacation is “Just Around the Riverbend!”  To stay informed of everything to do and see during your stay, check out the Disney Parks Blog!  If you have any more planning questions, please come back to planDisney, Dennis!  We are always here to help you with all your planning questions!

    See Ya Real Soon,
