Hiya Nicole - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
To enter a Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park you'll need
valid admission media (i.e., a Theme Park Ticket or Annual Pass) and a
Park Pass Reservation for the first park you will visit that day. If your ticket also has the Park Hopper Option, you'll also be able to visit any other available Theme Park later that day, and currently, that's after 2 p.m. each day.
Nicole, it's important to clarify that the ability to hop to a park is
not connected to the availability of Park Pass Reservations at that park. So, if you have the ability to park hop and your reservation is at EPCOT, you'll start your day there and then could hop over to Magic Kingdom Park after 2 p.m., even if there are no Park Pass Reservations available for Magic Kingdom.
It is important to also keep in mind that park hopping can be restricted at a park later in the day due to capacity issues. If everyone from the other three parks were to hop over to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon, that park might reach capacity and park hopping may be restricted at that park. This is relatively rare and typically happens around busier holidays, but if park hopping is restricted, you'll be notified in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App.
I hope this information is helpful, Nicole -
stop by any time with more questions!Ryan J.
