Happy Travels and welcome to planDisney, Victor!
Our families are very similar, we too visit Walt Disney World Resort frequently. The funny thing is, I grew up with the
Disneyland Resort and learned to love the Walt Disney World Resort when I became a mom. Both Disney Parks hold a special place in my heart.
Now, when it comes to scheduling your
dining reservations, there’s technically no exact time. Availability to schedule your reservations begins
60 days prior to your desired date. You can schedule your reservations online or by
calling. Keep in mind that the phone lines open at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time, so you will want to call then. If you plan on scheduling your reservations online, there is no hard-set time. You will certainly be able to book once the phone lines open, but sometimes availability opens a little before then, even in the wee hours leading up to 3:00 a.m.
I always recommend checking as early as you can and if there’s no luck then, try again later in the day. There have been plenty of times where I’ve set an alarm to schedule reservations early, then go back to sleep. It’s so funny I’ll give a little cheer and then return to rest as normal. I do prepare my family by giving them a “heads up I’ll be up early”.
Victor, I hope this helps secure a dining reservation for the restaurant you are looking to enjoy. If you aren’t successful, I do recommend trying to join the
Mobile Dine Walk-up option once you arrive.
Enjoy your visit and have a fantastic trip!
