our 1st visit to WDW will be in july I have a 4,5,9 and 13 yr old. will be there fo a week but wondering the type of tickets to purchase. The Park Hoppers or the Magic your way. Kinda only want to do 3 days at the theme parks is that enough time?

    Hello there Rebecca!

First visits are always so Magical! The main thing to remember is that you cannot do everything in one day. Your kids are going to want to do it all when they arrive at Walt Disney World. My suggestion is to try to go through the four parks and figure out the three that they most would like to go to prior to leaving home. Make sure to check the Disney Online calendar to see when the parks will be open. For instance, there are times when Disney's Animal Kingdom is open until 6 and others until 8, those two hours make a big difference. The Magic Kingdom park is also open very late at times so it makes it easy to go in the morning to one of the parks which closes early then park hop over to the Magic Kingdom at night. That is the best use of the Park Hopper add on. If your kids enjoy the pool, then I would suggest looking into the Water Parks Fun and More option. This gives you the same number of waterpark visits as Theme Park visits.
But, if you just want to relax for your first Walt Disney World vacation, I would get the Base Magic Your way ticket and go to the three parks of your choosing, then take in all that your resort has to offer. Our kids had a wonderful time getting to play with the Disney pool and event staff during our stay at the Polynesian resort last week. I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
