Hi, April!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your great question! I can't think of a better place to celebrate your kids' birthdays than at Walt Disney World!
I surprised my kids with a Disneyland vacation years ago when my husband was actually in California on business. I had our whole trip planned out with train tickets pre-purchased and bags packed and in the trunk of my friend's car. Both my son and daughter [who were 10 and 6 at the time] woke up for school and were eating breakfast like it was any other morning. I was in the bathroom getting ready for work when I poked my head out of the doorway and said to them, "How would you guys like to go on an adventure today instead of going to school?" Well, they just about flipped their lids! Then my friend
magically showed up at our house to drive us to the train station and a day-and-a-half later, we arrived at Dad's hotel room that was just minutes away from Disneyland! We'll never forget their excitement and how much fun we had on their "adventure"!
I think it's really fun to sort-of pull a fast one on your kids because often times, they think they've got us parents all figured out. You could keep it a big secret until you're actually at the airport and then pull some special Mickey Mouse Ears out of your bag! There is lots of fun
Theme Park Merchandise available at the Disney Store online.
I've just about run out of room for my answer, but I hope I've given you a couple of fun ways to surprise your kiddos! Please write back in if we can help with any other questions you think of!
Wishing you Pixie Dusted surprise planning!
