    We are going to visit WDW for first time, we have two boys 5 and 6. We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, I am not very animal friendly and I am worry about how close the animals get to you, and also if the animals will be around all the time.

    I'm absolutely delighted to know you and your lovely family have planned your very first adventure to Walt Disney World Resort, I can just imagine how excited your two little Wilderness Explorers must be! 
    You've made an excellent choice by opting to stay at the stunningly beautiful Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge; it really is one of my families favorite Resorts. 
    Remember at Walt Disney World Resort they're Wild About Safety so you need not worry at all about having a close encounter of the animal kind at every turn while staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Resort being over run by wild beasts; however Guests are certainly able to observe many animals from a safe distance.  
    The Resort is cleverly designed in a horseshoe shape and inspired by real African structures; Guests staying in Savanna View rooms look out onto the open spaces within this horseshoe shape where they can view animals both day and night such a Zebra, Giraffe and Gazelle.  There's also an animal viewing area just off the main lobby where Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy at a safe distance the sights of the African Savanna.
