Hello! We would like to visit WDW on February 20 (Our son's 1st Birthday!) through February 24. If we choose not to rent a car, and stay at a non-monorail resort (moderate or deluxe), which would be best for shorter/quicker bus travel?

    Hi Jeanine,

I can think of no better way to celebrate your Sons first Birthday!

If your budget allows, I would suggest staying at Disney's Beach Club, Yacht Club or Boardwalk Resorts which are all located in the Epcot Area of Walt Disney World. It is possible to walk from any of these Resort hotels to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom are 20-25 minutes away by bus.

If you decide to go with a Moderate Resort hotel, I would suggest Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. From here, the Magic Kingdom, Epcot & Disney's Animal Kingdom are a 20-25 minute bus ride away and Disney's Hollywood Studios is a mere 15 minute bus ride away.

I have to say that I always find Disney's complimentary transportation system to be very efficient and reliable.

I hope that this information has been of help and wish you a magical trip!
