Will be our 1st visit to WDW, arriving on 5/27/2011, for 1 week. Want to experience Star Wars weekend on Friday, our arrival day. What are our chances of getting on other attractions (e.g. Toy Story, Tower of Terror), if we arrive around noon?

Well, honestly, the lines may be long -- especially Toy Story Midway Mania.  I'd encourage you to prioritize what you'd like to see the most.  As you arrive at the park, at the end of Hollywood Boulevard (the main path as you enter the park) is a tip board that will list the wait times to help you establish a plan that works around the attractions with the shortest waits; I'd try to grab fast passes for those with longer waits.  Please keep in mind that the amount of fast passes you can have at a time is controlled.

Even if you don't get a chance to visit every attraction, take the time to enjoy all the details and magic of Disney's Hollywood Studios; it is nearly an attraction in and of itself.  Maybe consider making dining reservations there, too.
