We will visit WD in September, can anyone tell me the policy as far as bringing in outside beverages/snacks?

    Hi Catina,

I have good news for you: You are more than welcome to bring drinks and snacks, even sandwiches, into the Walt Disney World theme parks. There are only a couple of minor restrictions. You can't bring glass (except for baby food containers) and you can't bring alcoholic beverages in from the outside.

We often pack water bottles, granola bars and a few other munchies in our backpacks. We frequently see families enjoying sandwiches they have packed ahead of time. Once, I even saw a family spread out an entire hot meal on a park bench. They had brought it in inside a small cooler in their stroller. It looked and smelled delicious!

My only caution is not to weigh yourself down too heavily, especially if you don't have a stroller. You probably don't want to have to tote a heavy cooler all day.

I hope that helps. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your final plans. Your Walt Disney World vacation will be here before you know it. Enjoy!
