We will visit Walt Disney world from dic 29 to January 5, any suggestions for New Year’s Eve?

    Hi Marilu,

My favorite time of the year to visit is during the Holidays. But top on my bucket list is to celebrate New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World Resort. So excited you'll be able to do this in just a few months!

You definitely want to ring in the new year, and there are many options for you to choose from. One of the most popular options with Guests is to magically count down the year in Fantasy in the Sky at Magic Kingdom Park. But New Year's Countdown Fireworks at Epcot is a close second.

For an evening like no other, Disney's Contemporary Resort is THE place to party like it's 1999. Do it in style, in an all-inclusive event like Disney Countdown to Midnight: A New Year's Eve Celebration, where live music, exquisite cuisine and lots of photo-ops await you. Or you can join your favorite Pixar pals in a family friendly party with music and dinner buffet in Pixar Party: A New Year's Celebration. These events book fast so don't delay.

One last tip: if you choose to celebrate at one of the Theme Parks, be sure to arrive early as parks may close due to capacity. A great way to do it, is with the new Minnie Van Service. Happy planning!
