Hi we visit from the UK in August and my husband is an avid runner, in training for his first half marathon here in the UK in September, so we were wondering if there were any tips for running whilst on vacation. We will be at Coronado Springs. Thanks :)

    Hi Nicola!

Walt Disney World is my favorite place to race, and it's also my favorite place to do training runs.  There is something really special about taking my runs on magical Disney property.

You can find trail information about running trails on the Disney website.  There are several around the property and you can get maps for them at your front desk.  If you "Google" the phrase, "running at Coronado Springs", you will also be directed to some outside links with information available and maps to download.  Keep in mind that these are not official Disney websites, so information could be outdated, but they can help your husband visualize his training plan.  There seems to be two trails around Coronado that he can use.  One is approximately one mile, and the other is about three-fourths of a mile.

I also recently had a post on the Disney Parks Blog that highlighted my three favorite trails on property.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions:)
