1st visit to typhoon lagoon. Is it easy to get around by ECV and find places to park it? Mom can’t walk long distance. Not too worried about ride accessibility. She can’t swim so sticks to lazy river/wave pool/raft rides

    Rebonjour Nicole,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Based on my recent visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, the answer is… sort of. I saw a few ECVs parked near the locker areas after the main entrance, but I didn’t see many others throughout the site. One thing’s for sure: the sand will be way too soft for her to be able to roll it onto the sandy “beach” area safely, but there are several concrete walkways that should work for her to be able to get around/park.

My recommendation would be to ask a Cast Member for a list of where she can park her ECV safely during your visit and to try to pick a spot that is near one of the entrances and exits to Castaway Creek (i.e. the lazy river) in order to minimize how much she’ll need to walk.

I hope my answer helps you plan your visit to Typhoon Lagoon. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
