Hey there, Robert. I'm so glad you've dropped by to chat about my favorite way to spend a Disney day - park hopping!
Robert, I think you'll be very happy to know that you can, indeed, visit multiple
Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. This is called park hopping and requires a special type of ticket. When purchasing your theme park tickets, you'll look for the option that says something like standard theme park admission with the park hopping option.
After you've purchased your
park hopper tickets, you'll need to link them to your
MyDisneyExperience account. Once that's done you'll need to make a park pass reservation for the initial theme park you plan on visiting each day.
Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at a particular Walt Disney World Theme Park for each day you have a ticket. Walt Disney World is still operating at a limited capacity and this is how they control the crowds. After you've got your park tickets and your park pass reservations, you are all set.
Park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before. Here are the basics:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must make park pass reservations for the first theme park they plan on visiting each day
- On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks. This sort of "activates" the park hopper feature
- You are not able to secure multiple park pass reservations for one day. Even when parking hopping you only need one
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening
- To make park hopping a little bit easier for Guests at this time, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided
I hope this helps break down parking hopping a little bit better for you, Robert. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and happy hopping!
