Hi Joel! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! You are only about two months away until you arrive at the
Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm sure everyone in your traveling party is beyond excited to spend some time with Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the cast of characters.
Staying at a
Disney Resorts Hotel during your stay comes along with several perks. Early Theme Park Entry and the use of Disney Transportation are two that are at the top of the list! For each day you are booked to stay at a Disney Resort, you will have access to each of these.
Early Theme Park Entry allows Guests the opportunity to enter any park each day 30 minutes before the official park opening time. As long as you have a valid park ticket and theme park reservation to the first park you plan to visit, you will get a head start on the rest of the Guests. This extra time will allow you to ride most attractions with minimal wait times or grab an early bite to eat. At the Magic Kingdom, the head start can get you some amazing photos in front of Cinderella Castle without having many Guests at all in the background.
Having access to
Disney Transportation is one of the best aspects of staying in a Disney Resorts Hotel. Depending on where you decide to stay, you can travel to the parks by bus, boat, monorail, or on the Disney Skyliner. Each one is exciting in its own way and gets you to the parks at no additional cost. Transportation typically runs up to an hour after park closing time, so there should be no need to rent a car while you are there. If you prefer to have the freedom to leave when you want to without having to wait for transportation, then a car rental may make sense for you. There will be a parking fee at your Disney Resorts Hotel if you do decide to rent a car.
Joel, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming visit! Have a magical time during your stay!
See ya real soon!
