Hi Michelle,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You're choosing an
Incredible Summer to visit Walt Disney World! There's so much magic awaiting you.
Yes, you're spot-on about your Rapid Fill Refillable Mugs. If you have a
Dining Plan with your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation, refillable drink mugs are available for Guests over the age of 3. The refillable drink mugs make it convenient to enjoy self-service beverages at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Quick-Service locations. The refillable drink mug beverage stations typically offer Coca-Cola drinks (think Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite) as well as coffee stations, hot chocolate stations, and Gold Peak Tea stations.
Personally, I don't typically carry the refillable mugs in the parks as the self-service stations are located in Resort Hotel Quick-Service locations rather than in the parks. I'd simply be carrying empty mugs around and I prefer to travel light. On a recent trip, I did grab a coffee at my Resort Hotel Quick-Service beverage station before heading to Magic Kingdom, and since I had my mug with me, I made a point to take a few side-trip stops to Resort Hotel Quick-Service locations for refills — Capt. Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You could say, though, that I made a lot of side-trips just for the sake of the refills.
I much prefer to make great use of the refillable drink mugs while at my Resort Hotel at its Quick-Service locations, including the pool locations.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
