Hi Pattie. This vacation will feel a little different since your mom will only be with you in spirit but you must remember all those wonderful trips together you were able to have in the years past. Those memories will remain with you forever and now you will start your vacations making new ones.
Don't try to duplicate everything you always did but instead pick some of the favorite things you did together and fit them into the new plans. Take a park a day or spend half days in parks. I do not know the ages of children if there are any and what would interest the family group but most people find one park a day is easiest to plan. If you wish to have table service dining while in the parks then review your choices and make an advanced reservation. Check out special events such as parades and fireworks times on the calendar at the main site,
www.disneyworld.com.
Perhaps you can find time to take a
tour during this trip. There are many great ones offered that should interest most guests. Check out Downtown Disney with many new shops as well as the new hot air balloon experience.
Check the
calendars for the Extra Magic Hours and hit the parks during those special times to get the best short line experience for most attractions.
Since your question was cut off please don't hesitate to ask again some specific planning thoughts you have and we can help you through the process. Include the ages of the family members so we are able to make age appropriate suggestions.
