    Hi .. we visit Sept 8th for 10days and would like to go to Grand Floridian cafe but have just seen the list if opening hotels and the hotel doesn’t open until end of Sept. will the restaurants be open please so we can make booking 60days out .. thanku

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    It's always a pleasure to answer questions from my fellow Guests from the UK, and I am very happy to see that you have a holiday booked for September!  I have some good news for you!  Despite the fact that Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is not set to re-open until later in September,  The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (which is a Disney Vacation Club resort, separate to the main hotel) re-opened on June 22nd. This is very good news for you because some of the restaurants at this location are now open, including Grand Floridian Cafe!  Dining reservations cannot be made online for now, but if you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation (at any of the open resorts) you can make your dining reservations up to 60 days in advance by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 824-1391 if online reservations have not opened up by then.  

    At this time, with the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our holidays to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic and Dining: Know Before You Go, and keep your eye on any new posts from the Disney Parks Blog as more official details are announced.

    We know you have many questions about what this all means for your upcoming visit.  Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share.  Come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your holiday.
