Can I still visit the resorts without a reservation after the Disney Springs bus change if I drive myself to the resort?

Hello Nakiea! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your great question regarding visiting the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort.

The best ways for you to visit the resort hotels are to have a reservation at the specific resort, have a dining reservation at the resort, or be participating in entertainment or recreation at the resort for which you have a reservation. Any of these would permit you access to the resort. Upon arrival at the resort in your own vehicle, you will be asked to show your reservation before being allowed to park at the hotel. Proof of reservation can be verified through an email or on your My Disney Experience account.

Another option for visiting the resorts is to use Disney transportation, such as the Monorail or Skyliner. For example, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom, but would like to go to the Contemporary Resort, Polynesian Village Resort, or the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you could board the Monorail at Magic Kingdom and visit these hotels for shopping or perhaps taking a look to see if you’d like to stay at this resort during a future visit.

I hope this is helpful with your planning, Nakiea! Come back to planDisney with any other questions that you have as you continue dreaming of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

    Dreams do come true!
