Can I visit port orleans resort via ridding the boat from Disney springs without actually staying in a resort? I really want some beignet’s but only going to be in town for one day.

    Hello Lessie,

Welcome to planDisney! My sister and I stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside just last fall, so you bet we made a trip over to get a few beignets from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and they were amazing. I completely understand your desire to fit them into your visit.

Yes, you can definitely take the complimentary water taxi to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, even if you are not a Guest of the resort. Once you get there, venture over to Scat Cat's Club - Café for all the Mickey-shaped beignets you care to enjoy.

If you have the time, I also suggest one of the many recreational activities you'll find at the resort. Personally, I prefer the romance of a horse-drawn carriage ride along the Sassagoula River at the neighboring Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

Enjoy your beignet adventure, Lessie, and please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
