Hiya, Kathy! Welcome to planDisney!
I love that you’re planning ahead for your magical visit to the Disneyland Resort! Your trip is just around the corner, and I imagine the excitement is really starting to build!
I took a peek at the
entertainment schedule for your visit dates, and there is so much Disney magic waiting for you! At Disneyland Park, you’ll currently have the chance to enjoy the
Paint the Night Parade with two performances, along with the Celebrate Happy Cavalcade appearing twice during the day.
For nighttime spectaculars, you have some incredible options, including Fantasmic!, Fire of the Rising Moon and Wondrous Journeys with fireworks, depending on viewing conditions and locations throughout the park. You may also get to experience Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga and Tapestry of Happiness, which can add more Disney magic to the evening atmosphere.
During the day, check out for
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! for dancing, singing, silly fun, along with several live musical performances scattered throughout the park. One of my favorite things about Disneyland is how entertainment seems to be happening around every corner!
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you can look forward to World of Color Happiness!, Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!, dance parties, and more live musical entertainment throughout the day.
One of the hardest parts of visiting Disneyland is deciding what to prioritize because there is so much to see and do! If there’s a nighttime spectacular that is high on your must-do list, I recommend looking into a dining package or dessert party with reserved viewing. It can make a huge difference in how long you spend saving a spot, since guests often begin lining up an hour or more ahead of showtime.
I’ve personally done both the
World of Color Dessert Party and the
Plaza Inn Dining Package with Parade Viewing, and both were fantastic experiences! Not only did we enjoy delicious treats and meals, but the reserved viewing areas made the evening feel more magical. The World of Color Dessert Party was especially wonderful because having an actual seat at the end of a long Disney day felt like a treat! There is also several
Fantasmic! Dining Package options to choose from!
If I can offer one bit of advice, the Paint the Night Parade is currently scheduled to be wrapping up in August, and it is one of my don't miss experiences. I would recommend fitting it in if it is something you are interested in, because it will be gone before you know it!
Kathy, I hope your visit is filled with unforgettable moments, magical entertainment, and all the Disneyland memories you’ve been dreaming about. Your final countdown is officially on!
Wishing you many magical memories!
Kimberly
