Does your visit have to be paid in full 30days prior to trip dates?

Hey Howdy Hey Claudarra and welcome to planDisney!

I am so happy to hear you will be visiting us here in the Most Magical Place on Earth really soon! Thank you for your question about payments for your vacation. There are a few details we need to clear up, but let's go over the specifics with payments so you can get ready for your Magical vacation!

When it comes to payments, long story short, it depends on what you booked for your vacation. Vacation packages that typically involve a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets are the most common booking for Guests. This vacation package typically involves a deposit to hold your reservation and full payment is due 30 days from your date of arrival. You will typically be given several reminders via email as this date gets closer. If you do need to cancel or move your trip, you can do so for a full refund and without penalty anytime before your final payment is due.

If you did book your Disney Resorts hotel and tickets separately, this works a little differently. Typically, you will have to put a deposit down which is the first night's stay plus tax. The full amount is due when you check-in. Ticket purchases, if bought alone, require full payment to purchase. Refunds for room-only reservations will be given in full if cancelations are made 5 days or more from the date of arrival.

If you do think there is a chance something may come up last minute that may affect your ability to go on your vacation, I would highly recommend looking into Travel Insurance. Disney does offer a plan that applies to vacation packages and is a good way to ensure your trip. Make sure you look over the policy and it covers what you may experience and on what terms.

I hope this information helped so you can better understand your requirements. I do wish you can go on your trip as the Halloween season is a great time to visit for so many reasons. If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop by and let us know, we are always happy to help!
