hi! i am going to visit Orlando from Aug 8 to Aug 18 with my family ( 2 adults and 2 children, 10 and 15 years old) and i would like to receive suggestions and offers available to make our trip as convenient as possible. thank you un advance!

    Hi there, Denisa!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with your very own Club of Mouseketeers - are you counting down the days yet!? Denisa, I'm happy to provide you with some tips to ensure that your trip is as convenient as possible.

First, in case you haven't booked lodging for your upcoming trip yet, I highly recommend staying onsite at a Disney Resort hotel. When you choose to stay at a Disney Resort hotel, not only do you get to stay immersed in the magic even after you leave the theme parks, but you'll receive benefits exclusive to Resort hotel Guests! Benefits include complimentary transportation between your Resort hotel and the theme parks, early theme park entry, and even extended evening hours (for Guests staying at Deluxe Resort hotels and Deluxe Villas). For the ultimate convenience in transportation, I encourage you to look into Minnie Van service - a paid personal ride service powered by the Lyft mobile app. Minnie Van service can transfer you between locations within the Walt Disney World Resort. I find it especially convenient when visiting the Disney water parks or Disney water parks or other Disney Resort hotels for dining reservations!

Denisa, another recommendation is to download the My Disney Experience mobile app once you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. This app will provide you with helpful tools for maximizing your time in the theme parks! When I visit a theme park, I like to purchase Disney Genie+ service so that my family can utilize Lightning Lane entry to minimize our attraction wait times. (Be sure to purchase early in the day, as Disney Genie+ service can sell out!)

Another great feature in the My Disney Experience mobile app is Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. With this tool, you're able to easily mobile order meals, snacks, and drinks from select locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. You simply select your arrival window, submit payment directly in the app, and press "I'm Here, Prepare My Order." Your food will be freshly prepared and ready within minutes!

Finally, I encourage you to consider purchasing Disney bands during your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. These bands will allow you to unlock the door to your Disney Resort hotel room, enter the theme parks, and even charge purchases to your Resort hotel folio! Disney bands are available for purchase on shopDisney and at many locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I think you'll appreciate the convenience that these bands provide!

Denisa, I hope you find this information useful as you continue to plan a memorable visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth for your family. I'm wishing you all an unforgettable time! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to revisit us here at planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,
