Can we visit more than one park in a single day?

Hello again, Joanne! I saw that you've asked another question and I thought I would answer this one for you too since it is about one of my favorite things - park hopping

Park hopping is a special ticket that lets Guests visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day. It's my absolute favorite way to vacation at Walt Disney World and I think you'll love it too! To be able to park hop, there are a few things you are going to need first. You'll need to purchase park hopper tickets and link them to your MyDisneyExperience account ahead of time. Then, you'll also need to make park pass reservations for the initial theme park you wish to visit each day. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit. Walt Disney World is still limiting theme park capacity and this just helps control the flow of people.

Park hopping returned to us at the start of this year and does look a little bit different than it used to. I'm going to highlight some of the must-knows when it comes to park hopping right now.

    Currently, to park hop:

    • Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the first theme park they'd like to visit each day
    • On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day.
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evenings
    • To make park hopping a little more convenient, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided
And that's basically it, all you need to know about park hopping! I love spending the early mornings at either Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Then, around lunchtime when I feel like the parks are their busiest I like to head back to the resort for an afternoon swim. After that, I love hopping over to Epcot for the evening hours. It's so fun snacking and drinking around The World Showcase for dinner. It's a practically perfect day at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps give you an overview of park hopping. If you have any more questions about it, feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
