We’ll visit Oct 19–23 with 1-park/day tickets. Staying at Holiday Inn LBV—do we get Early Entry? If we switch to All-Star/Art of Animation, do we get Extended Evening Hours? Plan: EPCOT > HS > Rest > MK > AK. Any tips? thanks!

Welcome to planDisney, Consuela! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. With your trip to Walt Disney World coming up in a few weeks, it's a great idea to start narrowing down your daily itinerary, so I'm happy to let you know what perks you qualify for based on where you're staying!

You're set up for a head start because the Holiday Inn Orlando, located in Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs, does qualify for Early Theme Park Entry. During your trip, you'll be able to enter each theme park 30 minutes before the posted opening time every day. That perk pairs perfectly with your 1-park-per-day tickets: pick your park, arrive early, and jump on a headliner attraction before the larger crowds arrive. Just be sure your hotel reservation and tickets are linked in My Disney Experience, and check the daily park hours in the app so you know exactly when Early Entry begins. At the turnstiles, you'll tap in with your tickets, and you're off to the races.

Now let's chat about your potential resort switch. Extended Evening Hours are a different perk, and those are only for guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa. Since the All-Star Resorts and Disney's Art of Animation Resort are Value resorts, moving to either of those would not unlock Extended Evening Hours. You'd still keep early entry, but you wouldn't have access to the late-night hours reserved for guests of Deluxe resorts.

If Extended Evening Hours are a must-have, you'd want to look at staying at a Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa for the nights that line up with those late-night hours. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is always a great place to look for a deal on a Resort stay, and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort is perfect if you want to stay in the Disney Springs area. Both of those Resorts are in the Deluxe category and would get you both the Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours perks you're looking for.

I hope this answers your question, Consuela, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
