For our visit in Oct. I'm unsure about what to do with evening extra magic hours. What really is the best way to go. Spend the day at the park that has the evening EMH or pick a different park that day & avoid evening EMH alll together? Thanks!

    Hello Rhonda,

This really all depends on your family and sleeping habits.  I will tell you that we love to sleep in and stay up late at night (this seems to be a regular routine, not only at Walt Disney World, but at home too...unfortunately!).  For my family, we like to sleep in a little and take our time in the morning with breakfast and all, then it is off to the park.  We will pick one of the parks for the daytime and when it gets to be too much (heat, crowds, etc...) approximately 3-4 hours, we head back to the resort for some lunch, rest and relaxation and maybe even a swim.  When all that is said and done, it's time for the park that has the Extra Magic Hours in the evening and we close it down..pretty much!  This is possible by the way as we always have park hopper tickets which allows us entry into more than one park per day.  During the last hour we find that everyone is tired and the crowds seem to thin out dramatically....this is the best time when you can experience some late night "magic".  What do I mean by this?  Well, almost no line ups for attractions and the characters come out and start joining the guests that are left for some one on one time where they will even go on certain attractions with you.  This is such a magical place...but the late evenings are when we experience the most "magic" and build those memories that will last forever!  Relax, take your time and don't fight the crowds, is our motto and gives us that fun, stress free vacation at Walt Disney World that we love so much!

    Best wishes,
