My 2 ds and I visit nov 14-23. We are going to mvmcp, getting an in room celebration, plan to visit Santa at Disney springs, and view hotel decorations. It looks like most X-mas themed things start a few days after we leave. Is there anything else?

Hi Amber! It appears that you have done your homework well and have searched for all the holiday happenings.

There will always be lots of Holiday Events taking place on property and Disney Springs will be your best option to find the fun during your dates at Walt Disney World. The holiday seems to start there on November 13 and will include of course Santa visits, live choral groups, stilt walkers and more. The Magic Kingdom will have the special party, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which will really make you feel like Christmas is just around the corner. It is good that you have purchased those tickets now as they usually will sell out.

The resort decorations will be put up gradually so it is not clear if you will see those during your stay. They can be guaranteed pretty much after Thanksgiving but not necessarily before. There is a slight possibility that they will tape the Christmas parade during your stay. Last year they moved the taping from December to November but they have not announced the 2016 date yet,

Follow the Disney Parks Blog as they will announce the timing of all things as well as anything new coming to the parks during the holidays.
