Hi! When we visit next, we'll be staying at Boardwalk. We love to walk, and were wondering if we have a breakfast booked for 8am at MK, are we able to walk through Epcot to take the monorail over to MK?

    Hi Lisa!
Like you, I love early morning walks through the Parks and Resorts. As you may know, Disney's BoardWalk Inn is situated on Crescent Lake that has a picturesque nearly one mile path for your walking enjoyment. And while it may seem to make sense that it should be possible to walk through Epcot to catch the Monorail, the timing of your breakfast makes that impossible.  Epcot typically opens at 9:00 a.m. and you will not be allowed to walk through until after opening.  Your best bet is to catch a bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom.

I hope you have a magical time at the Walt Disney World Resort.  If you have more questions come back to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    See ya real soon!

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
