    If we visit MK on a day there are Extra Magic Hours in the morning from 8-9 will the opening ceremony be at 8 or when the park opens to the general public?

    Hi Tarra,

    When the Magic Kingdom has an Extra Magic Hour morning, the opening ceremony is performed just prior to the earlier opening time. However, this show is often an abbreviated version of the opening ceremony that is performed on regular park days. Sometimes, it will be the full show. It is not performed again at regular park opening time.

    There is no set schedule as to which days will have the abbreviated show. If you want to insure seeing more festivities, see the opening ceremony on a regular park opening day.
